Domaine Petra Bianca

Domaine Petra Bianca, founded in 1990 by cousins Jean Curallucci and Joël Rossi, is a viticultural gem nestled in Corsica, within the AOP Figari. This family-owned property extends over granitic soil arenas, benefiting from a climate influenced by westerly winds and generous sunlight. A quartz vein running through one of the plots gave the estate its name, Petra Bianca. The vineyards, cultivated using organic farming methods, produce a varied range of classic grape varieties, as well as Corsican varieties such as Sciacarellu, Vermentinu and Niellucciu. The owners have also revived several endemic Corsican grape varieties, including Rimenese, Moresconu and Genovese. Each plot, with its unique exposure and age, yields wines with precise and appropriate vinification. The estate takes great pride in preserving the authenticity of its wines, allowing the grape varieties to fully express themselves to produce the finest nectars. This year, alongside its Prestige and Vinti Legna ranges, Domaine Petra Bianca has revamped its natural wine Genum and launched a brand-new pure Rimenese white from 2022 named Pavonia, classified as a Vin de Table de France, as well as a pure Sciacarellu named Capi Nera, AOP Figari 2021. The estate offers tastings and tours of its modern cellar on request.

The wines are primarily available in Corsica and the Paris region; for those who wish to enjoy them elsewhere, shipping is possible.
