A Hidden Gem in the South
of France
Le 215 Gambetta is a rare guesthouse located in Cavaillon,
nestled between the Alpilles mountains and the Luberon,
in the South of France. Valérie and Gilles welcome you with
their warm Southern accent and immense kindness. Keep
this address close for your next getaway—because we
truly love everything about it!
As soon as you step through the grand entrance, you’re
welcomed like long-time friends. Valérie and Gilles take
great care of their guests, genuinely taking the time to
get to know you—or giving you all the privacy you need,
thanks to their uncanny sixth sense. They’ll greet you with
a welcome drink: a refreshing mix of Melonade and Perrier
on ice, a local aperitif made from melons.
The house was fully restored over the course of nearly two
years, all while preserving its historic charm. The result is
stunning—you feel right at home. There are a thousand
little details to discover: the collection of mirrors in the
bathroom, the dining room where a soft jazz playlist plays
in the background, or Pepette, the adorable house cat.
The interior design strikes a perfect balance between
old-world charm and modern elegance. Depending on
your room, you’ll enjoy amenities such as a king-size bed,
private bathroom with a freestanding tub, Smart TV,
quality toiletries, and air conditioning. The two suites each
feature their own private balcony.
In the morning, enjoy a truly outstanding breakfast in the
shaded inner courtyard. The setting is a dream—vintage
tableware with impeccable taste, antiques, beautiful
objects, soft music, and a soothing fountain. On the menu:
croissants, pains au chocolat, brioche, baguette, local jam,
honey, grandma-style eggs, cheese, fresh fruit, freshly
squeezed orange juice, coffee, tea, and hot chocolate.
