An Enchanted Interlude
in the Heart of the Luberon
Between the stately silhouettes of the perched villages of Bonnieux
and Lacoste, Mas Les Eydins flourishes in a setting of preserved
nature. This 19th-century Provençal residence, restored with me-
ticulous passion, reveals its exceptional character at first glance - a
perfect marriage between centuries-old tradition and contempora-
ry elegance.
As you pass through the gate, you are welcomed by an alley lined
with centennial cypress trees leading to a blonde stone façade
bathed in Mediterranean light. The vast garden, dotted with olive
trees and lavender, creates a serene atmosphere where the song of
cicadas accompanies each hour of the day.
Inside, the five guest rooms each tell a different story. Named after
Provençal plants, they brilliantly combine the rustic character of
exposed beams with the refinement of noble materials. These ha-
vens of peace open onto breathtaking panoramas - on one side the
majestic Mont Ventoux, on the other the historic villages that punc-
tuate this mythical Luberon landscape.
The beating heart of the estate is undoubtedly the restaurant of
Chef Christophe Bacquié, a three-star chef who obtained 2 Michelin
stars for his "Table des Amis" just 10 months after its opening. With
his wife Alexandra, they orchestrate a timeless experience where
treasures of local terroir are transformed through inspired creativity.
Days at Mas Les Eydins flow to the rhythm of simple and authentic
pleasures: a swim in the pool protected from prevailing winds, a tas-
ting of local wines on the panoramic terrace, or a nap in the shade of
centuries-old mulberry trees.
What creates the unique magic of this place goes beyond its excep-
tional comfort or renowned restaurant - it is this ability to create
an immediate sense of belonging, as if, for the duration of a stay,
you become the custodian of the Provençal soul in its purest form.
An experience that transforms a simple vacation into precious mo-
ments, engraved in memory like the luminous souvenir of a perfec-
tly mastered art of living.
