THE BISTROT DU PARADOU...
Vincent Quenin has succeeded in marrying the art of
eating well with the art of living well. «When I took over Le
Bistrot du Paradou in 2010, I wanted to preserve the spirit
of hospitality passed on by the previous owners, the Pons
family.» In this former coaching inn, now a prized institution
among epicurean gourmets, regular customers and local
craftsmen mingle with municipal employees, public figures,
and even rock stars. During a meal, this whole little world
shares a unique menu imposing depending on the day,
calf’s head, winter cassoulet, Bresse poultry, local lamb, or
the famous Friday aioli. A kind of rogue bistro cuisine to be
savored in a room with rustic decor or on the terrace in the
shade of bicentennial plane trees. Is it the authentic charm
that emanates from this place, or the warm atmosphere that
prevails? Is it the harmonious fusion of different generations
and classes that meet there, or the generosity of the dishes?
Or perhaps it is the personalized welcome that makes you
feel at home upon arrival? In this den with blue shutters that
has become emblematic, every detail seems to contribute to
its reputation.
...AND ITS LITTLES
Le Bistrot de Saint-Rémy, and more recently Le Bistrot de
Saint-Roch in Maussane-les-Alpilles, complete the family.
While the associated teams breathe the same spirit as that of
Le Bistrot du Paradou, the two newcomers have their own
character. The latest addition, Le Bistrot de Saint-Roch,
offers in a calm and cozy atmosphere a unique menu as
well as an à la carte choice, and a daily special at lunch for
25€. All to be enjoyed, in winter near the fireplace or in the
beautiful days in the naturally shaded courtyard.
Une ode à la cuisine
et à l’ambiance,
où la gloutonnerie a du chic.
An ode to cuisine and atmosphere,
where gluttony is stylish.
