Founded in 1963 through the merger of several Parisian

and Provençal workshops, Atelier de la Boiserie has

preserved a rare expertise: the design, manufacture,

installation, and restoration of high-end decorative

millwork. The company is built on two complementary

pillars: Paris, in the 11th arrondissement, the historic

heart of fine cabinetmaking, and Gargas, its main

production site, nestled between the Monts de Vaucluse

and the Luberon Massif.

It is in this Provençal workshop that a craft deeply rooted

in southern tradition finds its fullest expression: solid oak

joinery, traditional arched doors, finely crafted shutters,

small-pane windows… These are the distinctive features

of Provence’s bastides and farmhouses, shaped with the

techniques and noble woods that define the region’s

identity. Together, more than 70 master craftsmen,

joiners, cabinetmakers, sculptors, and finishers combine

traditional know-how with cutting-edge digital tools to

bring the most ambitious projects to life.

Their creations adorn some of the world’s most

prestigious addresses: Cartier’s iconic boutique at 13 rue

de la Paix in Paris, the Four Seasons Hotel George V, the

Century Plaza Bar in Los Angeles, and the One Sloane

hotel in London. Their projects in New York, Miami, and

Riyadh bear witness to a truly global reach.

The company’s story is now extending to the United

States with a dual presence: a showroom in New York’s

prestigious D&D Building, the showcase for the Ateliers

de France group, and the recent opening of a subsidiary

in Miami. From Provence to the rest of the world, Atelier

de la Boiserie continues to craft its finest stories in wood.
